Yeah, Chihiro's story is pretty sad. I find the other story with Hirono (the guy writing the manga..I'm not good with names either, I'm guessing here ^_^) a little bit more interesting, but I'm really liking the anime as a whole. I've watched up until episode 10. Just waiting on the others to come out. I hate waiting. :(
