Glad to know I helped wrap you up your Steins;Gate experience :)

I hope Mathru doesn't actually give you nightmares or I will feel bad :( I am strange and absolutely love creepy things like that. Then mix in the metaphor/symbolism for bullying and I'm sold. Considering the effect of that one, it probably is best you wait a while before watching Cat Soup. That one is something else...Not trying to hard to understand it is the key.

I suggest watching Yona first, unless you want to take a break between the two seasons of Magi. Yona has a political adventure story like Magi, but it is also a slow-build shoujo, reverse harem. Yona's character development is really wonderful, Hak is so amazingly devoted to her, and Shinah is such a sweetheart. Both of them are fun with a balance between comedic lightheartedness and serious action.

Hang in there. At first, I kept wondering why Steins;Gate was so popular since it does move slow and feel pretty slice-of-life until near te end. But once you reach the tipping point, you will understand and hopefully enjoy it as much as I did. I watched an episode a day until that point, when I then watched the rest in one sitting. You might also want to watch the movie afterward, too, if you want since it is a continuation that gives further closure. I actually just finished watching a playthrough of the original visual novel, and while I did like that better since it was more fleshed out and had more endings, the movie still gives better closure than the vn's true end does.

Don't worry. I tried to make this new challenge easier. Did you not like Steins;Gate?
