Hello! sothis is redesigning the anime-planet site, and plans to roll out an awesome new site design in July, we believe. The blog feature is not part of the new design, and it is going away. More information about this here: Announcement: the blog feature is being deprecated topic link. (Be sure to check out the new site design when it goes live!)
The blog pages are going away, and will be gone when the site redesign goes live. Your blog here will be removed from the site.
So, if want to keep the information posted in your blog, you will need to copy this information someplace else on the site. If you have any questions how or where to do this, please feel free to get back to me, and I will try to assist.
I'm curious about your Won't Watch list of anime.
Is there a particular reason you won't watch all those, like disliking the studios, not liking the adaptations from the mangas, or disliking the genres themselves? I see a lot of ecchi on your list.
I actually just downloaded a lot of things you have on that list and have seen many others. I'd almost use your list as a "Must Watch" list lol.
But if I had to ask about a particular anime you have on your Won't Watch list, it'd be the Bleach movies. I wasn't impressed with the 2nd movie, but I found the first and third movies pretty enjoyable. You don't have the series itself on the list; just the movies, so is the situations something like you like the series but won't watch the movies? Anyway sorry for all the questions, I just went o.O when I saw your list.
I will pray to all spirits so something like that would never happen. I would go insane seeing everything blocky as you said.
Yeah, it's a real shame how some many anime adaptations completely mess up the original story and turn the franchise to shit.
I know of one case, "Needless", where the manga is so insanely funny, but the anime dragged on for ages, and also put in so much more ecchi than the manga. I mean, the manga had ecchi, but it was for comedic purposes more than anything, but the anime just flooded the screen with them... :\
Oh and i saw in your Watched List that you've seen FMA. Afaik, the first anime diverged completely from the manga too, but the remake, FMA:B followed the manga really well and was apparently pure awesomeness.
Hey thanks for leaving a message on my "blag" about Asobi, lol
Yeah, "inconsistent" is a good way to describe the series. I think they tried too hard to avoid being generic, but they ended up slapping together ecchiharem with action and sci-fi and it just turned to custard...
By the way, nice to meet you ^.^
