Campione is as cliche as you can get. I bet the novels are better written than the rushed anime, but the story must be the same, which means they're not much better as a whole. The guy defeated the gods by kissing girls and talking (usually actual fighting did him little good). Shows like this remind me why I don't like harems and why I do like the few which are somewhat different (like Trinity Seven).
Edit: The last episode was so cheesy that I had to watch it on 2x speed to waste less time. At least I'm done with it. I'm not going to read the novels nor the manga and I'm not going to watch another season if one ever comes out.
