I'm just your average opinionated otaku is all.
Feel free to contact me anytime about anything. If you want to discuss an anime, or a manga or something entirely unrelated, just go for it.
I consider 2.5 stars to be average, and I don't rate things I haven't finished. While my standards are always shifting and developing, my manga ratings are particularly provisional until I have a firmer grasp of what a 10 out of 10 manga is to me.

Listing is all right, but the recommendation database was a huge boon to me when I was first getting into anime. Even now, I keep stumbling on weird artsy stuff that I probablt wouldn't have found otherwise.
Heh, I watched Eiken with a group of friends. It was a good laugh, so I cut it a bit more slack than usual. Just a bit.
Let's see, for manga A Drunken Dream is one of my favorite books on my shelf, but I'm a huge sucker for old shoujo in general and Moto Hagio in particular. Twin Spica is also fabulous- it made me cry in a public library, if you're into that sort of thing. However, it just went out of print in English, and I'm not sure how easy it is to find online. Yotsuba's a safe bet, too. Everyone loves Yotsuba.
Welcome to Anime-Planet, hopefully you find the site as helpful as I have!
Your taste in anime is ace, by the way, and there's oodles of excellent manga on your want-to-read :)
Konnichiwa!
Hi, by your name I assume you're an Isaac Asmimov fan too! I always feel heart-broken upon mentioning his name in a conversation, I hear "who's that?". I compared our anime ratings, in most cases they're the same!
