I'm just your average opinionated otaku is all.
Feel free to contact me anytime about anything. If you want to discuss an anime, or a manga or something entirely unrelated, just go for it.
I consider 2.5 stars to be average, and I don't rate things I haven't finished. While my standards are always shifting and developing, my manga ratings are particularly provisional until I have a firmer grasp of what a 10 out of 10 manga is to me.

I could spend copious amounts of time reading on the kindle without shedding blood trough my eyes. The only conclusion is that the screens are marvelous!
I believe VLC is exclusive to the PC. Since I'm not a fan of watching anime my laptop I think I'll pass. But thanks anyway. R1 might be a bit cheaper, but adding the costs of the postage from America, it'll sum up to the same costs. I had a look at the first episode of Panty. The animation seems really odd... Just the same as every aspect of this title. Somehow I really liked it! I believe you haven't seen Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence. It's really worthy of watching. If you have spare time take a look.
I do not mind reading digital copies, I actually prefer to. me, being a clumsy tea addict, I often have pages soaking in my beloved drink. Whereas digital books on kindle will remain flawless. I have not came across goodreads, it sounds promising so I'll will have a look. Thanks.
Though arguments for the existance of God, proposed by Descartes are considered to be laughable, he still maintains himself as a great philosopher (atleast in my mind). He is a very quotable person. I have came across several quotes by Emerson, they did grab my attention, but not ennough to do further research on him. Since you recommend him I will do so now. My grandfather once told me the greatest knowledge can be attained through travel, not study.
A friend of mine described Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt as "Powerpuff girls on drugs", sounds good to me! I doubt it reached Poland, I'll have a look on eBay for region 2 dvd once I'm done with Ghost in the Shell and GTO.
Neither my school library, nor my local library had "Cat's Cradle" so I purchased the digital version. Seems like I'll have to push anime away for a few days and prepare tea and cookies. I will surely have a look on Vonnegut's other books and try to hunt down these short stories you've mentioned.
My favourite philosophers would have to be Epicurus, Socrates, David Hume, Rene Descartes and Friedrich Nietzsche. They caused me to have many restless nights. It was only weeks ago that I read Sun Tzu's "The Art of War" and Miyamoto Mushahi's "The Book of Five Rings". What splendid minds these men wielded! I once came across a fascinating book about the non-existence of the self (better than Hume's who also that such a view). However, I strongly doubt the book was published outside of country of my origin.
Ah, I see. It took me almost two years to watch HOTD. I am ashamed of that fact... It is not due to the time it took, rather the fact I watched such an awful title. A shop nearby is shutting down and all of their DVDs are on sale... Seems like I will too be watching 50 anime at once.
I've heard of some works by Vonnegut regarding religion. Do you know their titles? I'd like to have a read. My bookshelfs are becoming dominated by fantasy and sci-fi, just months ago they were purely philosophical!
Wow, you're watching so many titles at the moment. Currently I'm watching five and I find it to be too much!
Konnichiwa!
At one point I did own a a HDMI capble, but it got lost somewhere in the amazon in my cupboard. I'll soon set-off on a journey to find it. Dead Leaves? Yet another anime joining my 'want to watch' list.
The movie if far superior to the series, of which I'm not a particular fan of. It is far more superior under every aspect; the darker plot, nicer animation. It upholds the title of one of my favourite (animated) movies. It's definitely worth giving it a watch, even a re-watch!
