Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood

Dec 25, 2012

Secret Santa Review - 2012 There is only one word that is appropriate to describe this series: WOW. I had always seen snippets of the original FMA series on television at night and never really saw much interest in it. I decided to give Brotherhood a shot, to find that I enjoyed this series so much I was glued to my seat for all 64 episodes. The story revolves around Edward and Alphonse Elric, brothers who commited a taboo act of alchemy and lost an arm and a body, respectively. Katanagatari

Secret Santa Review - 2012 As I decided to watch Katanagatari, all I knew about the series was that it was notorious for having a whole lot of dialogue, and it was produced by the same person who produced Bakemonogatari. After one episode I was hooked, and I literally just sat and watched this series end-to-end over the course of 12 hours. The story has a fantastic premise, and managed to deliver a good balance of comedy, action, and a little drama here and there. With the time format of the series (12 episodes x 50 minutes), you can have a lot of time for character development while still maintaining... See full review
