Secret Santa Review - 2012 There is only one word that is appropriate to describe this series: WOW. I had always seen snippets of the original FMA series on television at night and never really saw much interest in it. I decided to give Brotherhood a shot, to find that I enjoyed this series so much I was glued to my seat for all 64 episodes. The story revolves around Edward and Alphonse Elric, brothers who commited a taboo act of alchemy and lost an arm and a body, respectively. Secret Santa Review - 2012 If there was any anime yet produced that invoked my feelings, it would be AnoHana. I pretty much felt the entire range of human emotion throughout the series; this show made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me angry, and just about everything else in the emotional spectrum. The story is relatively developed, especially considering the time frame given to adequately flesh out the characters while presenting a plotline worth of presentation to the masses. Secret Santa Review - 2012 As I decided to watch Katanagatari, all I knew about the series was that it was notorious for having a whole lot of dialogue, and it was produced by the same person who produced Bakemonogatari. After one episode I was hooked, and I literally just sat and watched this series end-to-end over the course of 12 hours. The story has a fantastic premise, and managed to deliver a good balance of comedy, action, and a little drama here and there.
