Prison School

on Jul 25, 2015

Everyone now and then I cannot fully review a show because it has a very narrow appeal. Prison School is one of those shows. If you're into BDSM, seeing boys get the shit kicked out of them, or ecchi, then Prison School is for you. There's very little to this show outside its insane, wacky humor, so if you want something with a little more substance, i.e., actual characters you can relate to and a decent plot, then I advise you look elsewhere.

Persona 4 The Golden Animation

on Jul 15, 2014

I REALLY hate to judge an anime before seeing how it plays out, but Persona 4 The Golden Animation is an exception. For those of you who have neither played the original game nor scene the original anime, DO NOT WATCH THIS. The Golden Animation is trash compared to its predessecors. For those of you who were fond of the video game and the original anime, you will be disapointed. The pacing is screwed up and they cut out a lot of important scenes. It's hard to to mention some of the scenes it skips because they are really important later on and I don't want to spoil anything. Here's what they took out... See full review

Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai.

on Dec 22, 2013

I just want to say that I enjoyed the first season to a large extent. The second season is a whole other story. Let's divide the show into two parts; the first 3/4 of the season and then the last couple of episodes. The majority of the second season was good although it does have some flaws. The most notable flaw is Saori's pointless back story. Why is it pointless? BECAUSE SHE IS BARELY IN THE SECOND SEASON! Other than that the majority of the second season holds up pretty well. The biggst problem with the show is in the last couple of episodes. While it's a very funny, Oreimo ultimately collapsed... See full review

Mirai Nikki TV

on Jun 8, 2013

Before you read what I hate to say about this show, please read what I have to say about reviews. A good review critiques the show on an objective level and determines whether a show has the characteristics that deem a show good or bad. Just because a show is "bad" or "good" doesn't mean a person is incapable of enjoying it. Please understand that if you enjoyed Mirai Nikki TV, I will not attack you in this review. Thanks for reading ^_^ Normally I don't like to write a review of an anime before seeing the whole thing, but for this show I had to make an exception. If you haven't... See full review

Gokujo. Gokurakuin Joshikou Ryou Monogatari

on Jun 5, 2013

Since the show is short, I'll keep this review short. With episodes only five minutes long, you can't really fit in much plot or character development, or anything. Except fan-servce, which is the only thing this show has. If you like ecchi, and really crude humor, then you might get some laughs out of this show.

Ping Pong Club

on Dec 16, 2012

Ping Pong Club is best thought of as a "B Movie". Everything about it is terrible: the chacters, the animation, the plot...etc. But it's so bad, that it is funny. If you like watching "B Movies"/shows that are just so bad it's funny, then you will probably enjoy watching Ping Pong Club. If you don't like bad movies/TV shows, then this show will be more painful than a root canal without anethestics.

Kampfer

on Dec 2, 2012

From an objective standpoint, Kampfer is an otrocious anime. Characters: -No character development -Mikoto Konduo served no purpose. They could have removed her from the anime and it would not have changed anything. -Nothing makes the characters standout. They are all average and bland. -No reason is given for why the main characters like the male Natsuru, they just do. Other harem animes (Kampfer should be listed as a harem anime) actually give some sort of reason for the girls to obsess over the main male character like in Rosario + Vampire (Tskune is sincere). Sound & Animation: -The sound... See full review

Redline

on Oct 14, 2012

Overall, Redline is an ejoyable anime and I would recomend it to anyone who enjoys action movies (espeically anime). Redline's strong point is definetly the animation and racing sequences, which will have you on the edge of your seat. Sometimes sound effects can be a deal breaker, like when guns sound more like bb guns, but this was not the case. The sound effects compliment the animation very well and I was very impressed overall. The plot is straight forward, a race car driver named Sweet JP is out to win Redline, the most dangerous and highly regarded race in the galaxy. In all honesty, the plot is... See full review

Bleach

on Sep 25, 2012

In all honesty, Bleach is extremely hard to review because there is such a drastic change in quality partway into the anime. I would say that the first part of the anime (prior to Rukia being captured) is very well done and I would give it roughly an 8.5 out of 10. The characters are solid, and their interactions are humorous. Once Rukia is kidnapped and everyone goes to the spirit world, the anime suffers a serious decline in quality. This is because the manga hadn't finished so they made filler episodes to kill time while the author made more volumes. As result, several episodes go by where nothing is... See full review
