I've been an anime/manga lover for 14 years now starting with Vision of Escaflowne which I absolutely adore, own, and have watched many times. So sad there's no second season. Anyway, my first anime/manga was the movie My Neighbor Totoro, but at the time I just thought it was a different cartoon movie. I had no notion about anime and manga and that they were a whole genre migrating to north america and being translated for viewing/reading. Escaflowne made me want more (it was my first since totoro), and I ended up in my college's anime club. From there it's just gone. And gone. And gone. lol. (Meaning I watch/read a lot of it.) About a row and a bit of my bookshelf has manga. I own a few animes, and some are just the first 5 episodes. Generally my collection is not big by any stretch of the imagination, but it would be if I could afford it. Who needs drugs when, right? I've seen/read a lot more than I own. I love most of Hiyao Myazaki's movies that I've seen (After discovering Totoro was one of his, I sought his out).
As for who I am, well, I figure a bio about my anime and manga history is sufficiently apropriate on my bio for now. Anything more, you must talk to me to find out about. ;P
