Or is all of Mi-Ri Hwang's manga essentially the same?
I read He's Dedicated to Roses and liked it enough to try someof Hwang's other work, but then I noticed a pattern. Girl is undercover as someone else, meets a hot-headed guy, girl tries to protect her identity, girl is tortured by some bitchy chick/s, girl rises above and gets guy.
I wanted to like Hwang's other stories, but I was so bored sinceI read it all before! In fact, all though I do find some manhwa's art to be prettier than manga's, I stopped reading manhwas all together.
Perhaps it is just me, but I don't think so. I think Hwang spins the same story with different characters and settings.
