I must admit, I'm pretty taken aback by your coming around - apology accepted. I don't hold grudges or anything of the sort, so if your change of heart is sincere then I'm cool with that. I wasn't trying to act pompous or arrogant due to our difference in age, as age doesn't mean much to me - I look more for maturity and respectability, which are both qualities someone can possess irrespective of age. When people approach my reviews with these virtues in mind, I'm quite open and willing to discuss my positions; when someone just wants to pick fights and rag on your work, however, it's only natural to not give them the courtesy of legitimate responses.

Addressing your point, though: I would argue against the attribution of a certain "rightness" or "wrongness" to an anime's enjoyability (or any artistic piece for that matter). While the difference in quality between Clannad and Tokimeki is clear, quality does not necessitate enjoyment - I know people, for instance, who found Haibane Renmei to be tedious and boring while finding it a high quality work. Because peoples' tastes vary so drastically between different types of anime, there's no way to come up with some platonic rating scale. As such, the best a reviewer can do is establish his or her tastes, state his or her opinions, and draw justified conclusions. While the burden is on the reader to interpret whether or not the review (and subsequently the anime) fits their tastes, a good reviewer will make things clear. If you look at the reviewers on this site, for instance, you'll see a number of trends and likes throughout the staff:

Vivafruit: Prefers more serious and intellectual series with only a passing interest in things like action.

Me: Total sucker for anything with romance or a deep and involving storyline.

Kira: Loves ecchi and comedy but tends to shy away from slower/more dramatic material.

The list goes on. While each reviewers' tastes tend to be a bit more involved than simple blanket statements, ideally you reach a point where you can get a feel for your like or dislike of a series based on the commentary - the "rightness" of a review should fall to the wayside. I may think Shigurui is a truckload of despicable shit, but I explain why; if someone doesn't find my commentary to be fair, then they can still choose to watch the show and rate it as they wish. There's nothing wrong about you liking a series a reviewer disagrees with, or a reviewer liking a series you think is garbage - ultimately, you just need to develop a sense for what you think of the reviewers' opinions and go from there. When all is said and done, anime is entertainment: if you're not entertained by what you're watching, then there's nothing wrong with that regardless of what any review or opinion piece says.

Where the notion of objectivism slips in, I've found, is where peoples' tastes evolve over time as they watch more material. Harems like Tokimeki are, at this point in time, a dime and dozen - they're not terrible, but they're generic. Harems like Clannad are a flesh and different flavor to the genre; its more mature handling of its story, more realistic romantic flavor, and different approach to humor set it apart from its peers. Even down to things as superficial as the animation and soundtrack, it's pretty easy to define Clannad as the better series - you can watch and be entertained by a bunch of series like Tokimeki, but few go where Clannad does and succeed to marvelously. In the end, though, this is just an opinion; someone who hates romance and prefers shounen action above all else may think both Clannad and Tokimeki are garbage. As long as a reviewer relates their tastes appropriately within the context of their opinions, however, then all is well - the shounen lover can take my assessments with a grain of salt and move on. Likewise, though, the romance lover can take my opinions and see how drastically different I rate the series and make an evaluation based on that. As long as you have the right perspective about what reviewers are supposed to do, it's a win-win for everyone.

haha thanks alot for all the advice and i really understand all the problems you pointed out i guess i was just trying to get used to sony vegas so they all turned out with too many of those mix fights and im glad that you are actually giving me that kinda advice instead of just saying its good or bad it really helps. Im going to try to change it up alittle bit with the next one im thinking of working on so maybe it will be better.  Oh yeah and the reason i useually dont put the anime i use in the description is because most of the amvs ive seen people still ask what was used even though its says so i thought itd be a waste of time and if they wanted to know theyd ask but i guess i really should start adding them for the rare few that actually read the description haha. anyway thanks for the great advice as always and hope you feel better soon later.
