hey check out these new shows i just started watching:Infinite Stratos, Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, Rio-Rainbow Gate (so far my favorite of new season), and Yumekui Merry. All have episode 1 out. Another one that looks pleasing is Houkago no Pleiades (only preview is up right now).
Haruhi does not have as many viewers as Code Geass so the people who have watched it already, since its new are hardcore Haruhi fans so they would rate it 5. Code Geass has been out longer so it has been viewed not just the hardcore fans but by also the less hardcore ones

yea they are very ecchi, but looking past that they should have good plot lines
