I'm a huge fan of comedy. While that's my favorite genre I'll watch just about any kind of anime as long as the characters are interesting. Storyline, sound and everything else put into an anime are important, but the characters are ultimately what makes an anime worthwhile in my opinion.

Ratings

My personal ratings are subjective and are based on my personal enjoyment I got from watching an anime. Thus some anime which might not seem that great overall or very well rounded I might have given a high rating just because I enjoyed watching them so much. My review ratings however I try to be more objective and rate based on how well-rounded a work the anime is and the impact it would likely have over a broader audience. That being said there is always going to be a level of subjectivity in everyone's reviews, but that's what makes anime-planet so great is seeing how certain anime impacted people in different ways.

I posted this reply to your comment on the Irregular at the magic highschool review you replied to a while back. Of course there was no guarrennteed that you would of went back to see it so I'd thought i'd come and leave the comment here on your page. I would love to hear your opinion on my reply and if I had any hate or disrespect in this reply i apologize i didn't realize/intend to do so. but anyways here it is if you care to read it.

"@HarioSagara I see and understand what you mean about my statement about OP but you missinterpreted my statement. I was talking about how he didn't see this show to the end and was only able to see only the abilities that the main character displayed in the FIRST COUPLE of episodes. He ASSUMED several things about the main character before actually seeing and proving for himself which he does in several reviews he has on his page. also I'm not talking about the end result when all is revealed. That result is completely 100% OP without a doubt for this kind of anime, and the bullshit about feeling 1000x (or whatever the number was) times the pain inflicted when he heals wounds crap didn't hold up well for me either. They should of at least created a limit for him in that regard but alas it was the one fatal mistake that was overlooked. As far as everything else that you said that CAN be explained through the magic that exists in that world and its something that can be learned and obtained by someone other than the main character. That being said... the "Blocking" of bullets in midair thing isn't part of that list. Perhaps if they made it to were he was putting a "shield" in front of him that turned the bullets into dust it would be argueable but alas the creator wanted more awesome in the picture and i totally agree with him it was awesome to watch and see. Of course none of this was created to fit the criteria that both of us and this poor reviewer wanted for this anime. I got a little off topic but anyway Aside from the healing and catching bullets crap most of what this character has can be obtained with the right amount of training and practice (which i imagine given his circumstances he had more than plenty of) one can obtain most of the abilities he has. While this character is severely OP he doesn't take away from the overall show which is obviously directed to that specific fanbase who enjoy powerful main characters like this one so in that aspect it did fantasically. I don't mind that he doesn't think highly of SAO thats a different topic which i can see reasoning in, however his extreme bias towards it make him believe that any anime even remotely similiar to SAO must be viewed with the same hate and disgust as SAO which really pisses me off that people do that for an unrelated anime like that. I've looked at several other reviews this guy has made and a couple (not all or most) like to compared a great amount of content in that show to SAO. There needs to be a "Disagree" botton next to the funny and helpful button. i bet he would get just as many dislikes on his reviews. Either way thanks for your opinion  HarioSagara"

I posted this as a reply on the review as well tell me what you think ciao!

I use bittorrent for the bakabt stuff. and windows classic media player for playing the episodes.

Edit: I also remembered some very important things about bakabt if you're going to be using it.

Here's a list of the allowed torrent clients.

The first thing you need to know is that you need to seed, if your ratio gets below 0.500 then you may be at risk of getting an ip ban. (Only counts after you've downloaded about 25gb and they usually warn users).

The second thing is that double posting on torrents is not allowed, if you wish to post new thoughts, use their edit function.

New accounts are also limited on the site for a week.

for more information, head over to the FAQ and the Rules sections.

the Shinryaku! Ika Musume is currently in my plan to watch list and from what I hear it's more cute than anything else.  Also the index series was good from the start to where I am currently at. I haven't seen the most recent season, but so far it has been great.  Remember to watch the railgun (Toaru Kagaku no Railgun) series after the first season of the index series.

Thanks for the nice comment about the reviews. My goal is to get into journalism one way or another and writing the reviews and stuff really helps my writing along, so it's always nice to hear people enjoyed reading them. ^^
