Fall Anime 2010 - Impressions (Part 2)

Sora no Otoshimono Forte

Probably the most awaited sequel this fall, Sora no Otoshimono Forte begins, continues and develops the same like the first season did. Since it's obvious that it will have the same developing line like the first season had, its obvious that the first part cointains pointless & plotless fan-service, with funny Tomoki moments (damn somehow, i can never forget the scene in the season one when the flock of flying pants came back to Tomoki, and especially his expression) and a second part where the story enters in a more serious line and starts to develop a bit, digging deeper. This time we feature the appearence on another angeloid, Astrea, which will coexist with Tomoki and his other angeloids, Ikaros and Nymph. I have to admit, it got a little bit on my nervs, because for like 4-5 episodes there was nothing more than pointless fan-service and no sign of story picking up. A feast for the ecchi freaks this show will not go unnoticed for sure. Probably out of all the sequels this is the most popular one, probably only Index 2 could be concidered its rival this season.

Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt

In my opinion, Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt is the worst anime this season. This is the result when you implicate american producers in developing anime shows. This anime has absolutely no good points, the animation design and directing is a total mess, filth in its true sense, bad and grose humour specific in the american anime industry actual, one of the consequences of involving them, absolutely no story or character development here in other words, if this was an object in my possession, even the trash can could be treated in a royal way compared to this show. I'm very sorry if i offended someone, this is entirely my opinion about it, if someone dares to comment back with something like "i don't understand why you don't like this" i swear to god that ima make him/her swallow those words and choke with them. And if there is a reason when you say that the anime industry is in decay, look no further you have a big example here. There are 7 years since i started watching anime shows and i never came across something as horrible as this.

The World God Only Knows (Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai)

Been a big fan of The World God Only Knows, been reading the manga way before the anime was announced for production. One thing i can confirm about this show, it's tasteful humour sometimes really amazes me. This show does not need fan-service stuff to make you draw a smile or something like that, nor complicated stuff, nor perverted dialog (Seitokai Yakuindomo anyone?) the whole charm of this show is a boy addicted to dating-sim games, claimed to be the Conquering God since he caputred the hearts of 10000 virtual female characters, Keima Katsuragi. Although when it comes to dating-sim games he is unbeatable, he is completely helpless when it comes to dating real girls since he conciders them a real bother. Until one day when he actualy makes "a deal with a devil", the devil being a sweet and cute girl named Elsea. From this point the adventure begins. This show has a little bit of everything in it, but the most important thing is of course the comedy aspect, such a tasteful one that makes this show worth watching. I definitely recommend it.

Koe de Oshigoto

Now this has been a big surprize. I always wondered how can the voice actress make those sounds in adult visual novels, anime shows or hentai series. Well, this is the purpose of this show, Koe de Oshigoto, more or less an image of this job, even though i doubt that it goes to this extent, but you never know, hunger for money asks for desperate measures, more like insane ones. The story revolves on a 16 year old girl named Aoyagi Kanna, who is asked by her older sister to become an erotic voice actress on her 16th birthday. At first, she completely rejects the proposal but after putting some thought, she eventualy accepted the job. However when she saw a true voice actress in action, she was completely overwhelmed, and not only by her skills and dedication, mostly by the words that were coming out of her mouth. I came to wonder now, do erotic voice actress need to suck a finger so that they can make the sounds for an erotic show/novel? This definitely made me think about it. This anime has become a huge hit since it has been out, insane ratings and disk sales, good reviews and also extremely controversial. Heard many people describing it as "The BEST sex/health education in the history of the World!" (and i have to admit, it does have a point LOL). Can't wait to see the next OVA of this puppy!
