Oh, I hear you about the shyness, but being behind a computer -can- definitely help you out. And most folks here are sooooo friendly and willing to chat about anime titles they've seen, that common topic can make striking up a conversation a bit easier also.

(You might find yourself with anime friends here and participating in the community here in spite of yourself! LOL)
