Think it is about time I put up a proper intro.
You have now entered the Funkgun-FunZone. If you are a smart lad or lass, I might warn you of excessive brain freezing that goes on in these parts.
First it is ever so tastey, then it starts to hurt. place index fingers to the sides of your nose. let the mind warm up.
Your all better now.

As for me, been watching anime since the mid 80's. (chopped up and kiddy friendly) then watched it propper uncut in 89 - early 90's. i have seen anime on everything from a betamax, to a VHS with no subs and a the subtitles written down for me on reams of paper having to match lines of dialog with the counter on the machine.
I have been on clubs, taken years for breaks and seen a lot of titles. I have gone through binges of anime, and droughts. I have drained precious cash on silly trinkets of my animation ambition.
It has been a heck of a ride.
Thanks for your time. if you wish a refund on the time for reading this, send me a PM requesting it... I shall bring it before the elders in my head then if so prompted I will reach through dimentions and time and rewrite this synopsis. =D
ok... so now we are done.

Hey it's been a long time ! I was wondering if you could recommend me some good animes from the 90's or late 80's, preferably something that is available to buy on DVD. It could be comedy, action, adventure etc, im open to anything as long as it has a good story line. So far i've seen Bersek, cowboy bebop, trigun, kenshin, outlaw star, trigun and im about to start evangelion. Shoot some names at me if you can thanks ! btw I just bought the complete first season of Lupin III :)
yeah, sucks when people don't have any interest in the old stuff (IF you know jpnese though, all the raws are on youtube, which is one more reson for me to learn it)
thanks (for advice AND the compliment)^^
spanish sucks for me (even though I live in texas, and have spanish speaking neighbors...), speaking of untranslated anime, have you heard of the kabocha wine? watched up to ep 5, before you can only find raws, but I managed to find up to ep 6 or 7 here, but they havent added any more eps since 2010... so not many people are backing this series...:(
btw: your signature is pretty nice too^^
nice avatar^^ where were you able to see cat's eye?0.o I can't seem to find any eng subs for it
Thanks! ^_^
Cool thanks a lot for the recommendations ! I actually bought macross plus on vhs at a thrift shop a while back, I found the whole collection, and then I bought it on dvd. I got it for a really good price. I also have the first Robotech Macross saga on dvd. I'm hoping to start them soon. I read some of your blogs and I see you're a fan of Macross so if I have any questions in the future I'll be sure to bug you lol.
Crusher Joe sounds/looks really cool. I'll be sure to check that one out !
Dual looks like a good one as well :) thanks again for the help it's much appreciated
