If you like really nice art super powerfull Espers and an intruinging plot this is for you. Dont bother careing about that it's a so call spin off cuse I hated the original just watched a few episodes of it couldnt stand it. You could say that this is a stand alone anime and not a spin off you do not have to watch the 55+ episodes of the original to understand this anime in fact dont just watch this instead. I have to say this was a horrible second season and extremley boring one at that. Only reason I finished watching it was so I could get it over with. I loved the first season and thought it was really good for an older anime. I feelt season 1 had more comedy in it and a great plot and well develop characters, while season 2 was just lacking in every way. This anime started out in a pretty confusing way with 2 brothers coming to live together with their 3 rd and oldest brother after beeing separated for 10 years they also hade a sister which you will find out about later on. Well anyway From here on things seems to be heading in a interesting way with these giant monster like creatures coming out peoples bodys. However as the anime drags on the story turns out to not really be that great and it lacks alot of action in it as there is almost none. Such a wonderfull emotional tale about a young girl named Violet Evergarden. We get to see her struggle through normal human society after beeing raised as a weapon/tool. In this we see how a few words can mean so much to a person. I don't want to reveal what happens but Violet is involved in a very traumatic experience which sets her on this path. She goes from emotionaly inept to expressing others emotions in letters. This is a slow process and a lot happens to Violet and the people around her. This was an incredible anime with alot of romance and action and mystery mixed in to one. This anime might not seem like anything at first but keep watching, because this was one of the most epic story's I have ever seen in an anime. It will keep you guessing untill the very end and the romance and magic mixed together in this way was truly amazing. I liked the art work and the way the story keeps suprising you.
