After reading Neverending Story I was asking myself "wait, is this really supposed to be a children's book? If yes then, wow, german kids are by far more refined and smarter than brazilian kids". :) Now, I wasn't aware of Pullman's His Dark Materials books - after some searching, I discovered they were released here just a few months ago, that's probably why.
I don't know if you're familiar the Mary Stewart's Merlin Trilogy books. If you're an avid fantasy reader, you could try them. Oh, and definitely get Stardust, there's no way a TNS fan won't like it. :)
Well seeing as to how Tetra is the last person who posted on your profile, I see that it is too late for you. Her brand of fanboy followers have probably infected you already. Do not worry, there is something you can do!
To make sure you are not effected, perform the following:
1) Look at a picture of a catboy. If you have the sudden urge to become a catboy, cease at once! That means it is too late for you.
2) There is no number two, because clearly I am not a trained medical professional.
Treatment:
1) Sorry, there is no treatment. You must enlist in Tetra's service as one of her catboy minions.
2) Again, there is no number two, stop looking for one.
I rather like the comment system myself. It was frustrating to see people who had great recs, funny avatars or interesting presentations and not be able to 'talk' to them and tell them what I liked about them.
