about me

Just here mainly to keep my things in order.

For a long time I stopped watching anime and reading manga because I lost interest, but now it appears I'm back. I guess one could consider me to be open to almost any genre, but everything comes down to my mood and if I'm willing to spend the time to watch/read. I have a soft spot for romantic and comedy though. "I like what I like whether you like it or not", simply put. I do prefer shorter series though, so I can finish them quickly. Once I find an anime/manga I really enjoy, it's difficult for me to stop once I start. Thus, when it comes to longer series, I will sacrifice a lot of time to try and plow through it as soon as possible if I really like it.

I'm also an avid gamer and I love collecting figures, though my collection is small. Currently learning to be a video game developer as well.

Feel free to leave a comment if you wish to talk to me. I'm pretty friendly and up to making some friends.

Well there's Gosick (love Gosick) that's the best you'll get, KamiMemo and Un-go are more detective mystery but along the same lines, otherwise you'd need to find some means of gleaming out the more interesting parts of Detective Conan lol

Well let's see, I definitely go for uniqueness. I'm big on emotional series, particularly those w/ sad or tragic elements. Great characters are always a plus, but good character interactions can be more important. Atmosphere, definitely like shows that create a strong atmosphere. I tend to find I like shows that are true to their themes and don't try to be something they're not. I'm sure I could ramble more, but in time these things will be discussed.

Also, those are pretty much my hobbies, anime and football lol. I listen to A LOT of music, particularly Japanese music. So if you want some musical recommendations I can help out there too. I'm a civil engineer if that's of any interest to you, graduating on Sunday :D.

What about you? What are your activities and such?

And goodnight :)

It's a very good show, and unique doesn't even begin to describe it. I mean the only other recent show that's even close to as unique is [C] (which is another show I really like btw). But [C] is more of a unique world whereas Penguindrum is a straight-up unique show.

So yeah, feel free to ask me about any shows you're curious about (I've watched a good amount). And if you hav anything thematically specific that you're looking for I can try to make a recommendation.

And feel free to ask me about myself as well lol, I like to make friends on the site :)

Also, I don't mean to keep you up, idk what time zone your in.

So if I might be so bold, let's exchange pleasantries...

What are some shows that you would say are characteristic of the type of thing you like to watch?
