Yeah, that's the hardest thing about setting up an account, picking the top 5.  Animes all generally have their own strengths and weaknesses, but to single out 5 is really hard when you've seen a lot of good stuff!  I just picked 5 that exemplified the sort of anime that I'm interested, not necessarily anime that IS my top 5, but are some of my favourites.  :P

Anyways, I was going through your anime list, and thought that you might like Claymore.  It seems to be the "in" anime of the year, and it's quite gruesome in my opinion, but it's really well done.  :D
