Elven

Story

Every anime has strong point and weak points. But I can say it out for sure, that this anime strongest point is uhm, everything. Of course we all have our personal opinions about certain stories. Some say that they hate this kind of stories, but I certainly love it. Story is best of the kind what I love. It all starts from scrap. But over time they become closer and closer and pass hardships till one point they are broken apart and they meet again. That what makes it best and most moving. It is hard to express myself with this much moving anime.

Animation

Animation was smooth, nice and good. There wasn’t anything bad what I could remember. Animation was also calm, as the nature of calm must be. But since there wasn’t some especially memorable animation, it also gets weakest points.

Sound

Sound is something, what was just amazing. Indeed, it didn’t have many amazing song moments, where I would get really chills. More like opposite. It is pretty embarrassing to say, but there were loads of moments when music made moment even more sad, that I had hard fight not to cry. The worst part was obviously ending, where in the end I lost for second.  That of course includes all the ‘conclusion’ music, where our lovely gray wolf revealed ‘secrets’ or all similar stuff. It really had amazing sound/music fitting.

Characters

This thing is again arguable. Everyone have their own ‘favourite’ characters and their favourite style. Some people love humorous characters, some love mix characters. But for me, it was really amazing.

I have noticed one big thing in so many animes, what has been little bit disturbing. That is side characters, who also love the main character. Around 90% (if not more) of animes, I have always chosen other favourite character, who I would choose myself. It has been really disturbing that there is one main character, who he loves in the end. Personally that character is more like annoying or I really thing “What are you doing? Why don’t you love her?” Or best part is the multi-lover (that’s why I loved school days). This is one of the few rare animes, where I actually rooted for the main character and thought other girls and characters and side character. Most of time didn’t felt even sorry. This is why Characters are REALLY well archived and designed. I did realize, who is main character and who isn’t. I rooted at main character, as I should have rooted. Do you understand now, why it is arguable?

Overall

For me, it is almost near perfect anime. There has been really only a few animes, who had similar feeling to this. I think if not better, then closest would be Clannad, Gurren Lagann or some other similar. Yet it doesn’t gain perfect score? Why not? Because anime still isn’t perfect. For me, it is really hard to find perfect anime and that anime would be only the most perfect top favourite anime, where I love just every episode and what is truly amazing. Who knows, maybe there is already manga about that anime? I will be waiting, challenge me.
