My name is Daniel (switch the letters around a bit and you'll get Elidan) and I guess you can could me a newcomer to the world of anime. I'm 21 years old and I live in a country called Denmark, which is located in mid-Europe, just above Germany. It's a small country with around 5,5 million citizens.
.: Manga vs Anime :.
Generally I think mangas is better than anime. Let me try to explain why. When reading a manga, you, the reader, can decide various things yourself, like the characters voices, to some extent speech pattens and some other social things that is almost impossible to explain on paper. On the other hand, all these are settled in an anime and I dare to say everyone has experienced a voice of a character they felt ruined the experience of the anime.
However, I think the best animes are better than the best mangas. Contradicting myself? Not exactly. As stated above a lot of things are decided in an anime which are not in a manga. If these things are chosen with care they can enhance the experience of the anime and the attachment to the characters. Music is another huge benefit for anime, but if done horrible it can also be it's downfall. So I hereby claim that; the mountain of manga is generally higher than that of anime. However, the peak of anime is taller than that of manga.
