I just downloaded a whole bunch of urusei, only to find, to my horror, that it lacks subs. all of it. this is a bit of a ticky predicament. I'm trying to get subs off of another torrent that i used last time, but it seems to be much less popular. In the subless, dubless one, i have about 44 peers from all over the world. The one with subs: i have 3. The peers are always from the US, Japan and Portugal. How amusing.

Also I recommend you watch 12 Kingdoms. Der Julius turned me on to it. It's like a japanese Lord of the Rings - a long, epic exploration of an intricately designed fantasy world where the main character discovers she's not actually a useless tool, but rather a fundamental part of the world itself. Also there are cool fight scenes. They skimp on large battle scenes, I think because the artists were too busy designing buildings and cities and ships and shit. Whatever, it's cool.
Also the side characters are weird. Most of them are psychotic bitches with delusions of grandeur, one guy manages to be the most wholesome and intelligent and NORMAL anime character I have ever seen. But he's not human...

Oh yeah, and why won't you watch Urusei Yatsura? Do you not realise it is actually the best long-series anime ever made? You watch that Naruto filth over THIS? The true mother of all anime? The anime where the director of Ghost in the Shell started out? The anime every single other one has copied since?

I found the dub is actually pretty good. The guy's voice is completely insane, but then so is he, so it fits nicely.
