+ its specials and movies.
I don't think there's a single thing about Kino's Journey that I don't love. I could say 'because there isn't more', but that's retarded since there are 18 novels and most of them are translated.
See you Space Cowboy, your kind will never be seen again.
Homura did nothing wrong.
If Michael Bay was Japanese and had talent.
But for fucks sake Hiroe, quit drawing porn and continue this already.
+ Fate/Zero 2. Good ol' Urobutcher took everything that made the Fate series great, amplified the bleakness up to 11, and erased all the highschool bullshit that plagued Fate/Stay Night.
Highschool lesbians suffer horribly to prevent the heat death of the universe.
What more could you want.
Not including its other seasons. They weren't as good. The story may have become clearer, but really, clearing up all the mystery came at a detriment to everything that made Higurashi great -- sheer paranoia and madness.
Animation was a bit... rough at times, though. Hey, it's DEEN, whatdoya expect.
It's like a Tarantino film but with actual hope for the future.
What the hell is wrong with this show it's fantastic.
fuck i need to rewatch this.
+ its sequels.
+the second season. Watch it for the economics.
Season 3 never. Read the books you twats it's never going to be made.
+the second season. Probably the best coming of age story you'll ever watch. Well, best realistic coming of age story. FLCL still holds the 'Best Absurdist Coming of Age Story', although I'm unsure of how many stories would even fit under that heading.
Shitty ending, though, I mean what the fuck was that.
... just as long as you skip past the horror that is Endless Eight.
I get 'Nam flashbacks whenever anyone jokingly says "Kyon-kun, denwa".
Not the second season or movie. They were still good, but it's pretty difficult to surpass Psycho-Pass's shadow. Although I do feel like the Urobutcher kind of peaked in his level of quality with both this and the 3rd Rebellion movie, everything he's made since has been fairly lacking.
Went in with low expectations and was left bursting into laughter every single minute.
Just not the shitty Rebuilds, don't fuck with me.
Season 2 does not exist. I can do without Drunken Asshole Batman and Mary Suou, thanks.
Kick back and relax. Watch an episode before going to bed. This ain't a show you're supposed to marathon.
Punishing and unrelenting reality in movie form just to remind you that romance does not, and will never, work like it does in anime.
Just don't go in expecting to enjoy it.
Watch it for the Count. Well, and the in-depth story and unique art style I suppose, but really, you're here for the Count.
Watch it even if you don't normally like shoujo, or hell, because you don't like shoujo. The reason this works so well is because it mocks the hell out of all the bullshit often found in shoujo anime/manga.
+ second season. I really need to start the manga.
Do not read the manga. Just be happy it ended here and do not inquire further.
I SAY THIS FOR YOUR OWN GOOD.
The second and last (first is Ouran) shoujo that I've ever enjoyed. It doesn't necessarily break free from the normal conventions found within the demographic, it just pulls them off very well.
Just not the 2013 sequel, that was the most pointless addition ever.
Ending was a fucking cop-out but nonetheless, it still has one of the greatest villains in anime.
Nidaime was ok, but it lost some of it's charm with most of the main cast gone.
