Started watching anime with Dragonball Z. Dark, sci-fi, horror, and epic are my favorite anime types. Berserk is my favorite anime of all time. I'm pretty picky on animes that I like but willing to watch new shows.

Lol. I appreciate the compliment very much. It's turning out to be my second favourite avatar after my Yoko one. As for Berserk, when you check the AniRec, you'll find it's strongly recced with Claymore and Gungrave. Neither of them is as twisted as Berserk can get, but Gungrave is very complex and quite epic in that mob/gangster way (includes male friendship as a central dynamic), and Claymore has that gory demon fantasy violence thing. Both have great characterisation. Frankly, though, finding a piece that is just as dark and just as superb as Berserk is quite pointless - it stands in a class of its own, no? Lol. But yeah, check those two out in the AniRec if you haven't seen them already.
