I'm pretty much the coolest loser you'll ever meet. =D
Basically, I try to review anime that I watch, but it doesn't happen very often. When I do, I review mostly on characters and story. Sounds, that doesn't do much for me. I never notice music, even in movie soundtracks. When I rate it in reviews, I try to interpret that as "voice acting," which I almost always give five stars for. I'm biased. =] Animation is nice, but you can grow used to an animation you didn't initially like at first. And with very few exceptions will animation stop me from watching a series (although it took years before I gave One Piece a try). As I said, it's all about characters and story for me. Mostly characters. Story is very important, but even a great story without any characters that you're into loses its appeal eventually. Characters make or break an anime for me, which is probably why I like the epic animes (Naruto, Bleach, Inuyasha) with lots of characters that you really get to delve into.
Oh, and I'm biased because I'm a voice actress. =] I rate everyone high. You haven't seen me in anything, but you will one day! BELIEVE IT!! -.^
