Jigoku Shoujo was pretty tough to get through, but it got better in the second and third seasons for sure. In those seasons they added more of a story that weaves it all together. I would most certainly not rewatch the series though, that's for sure.

I have the same problem with Gintama. The way I plan to get caught up in it is to just watch it anytime I want to watch a comedy, and only for about 20-25 episodes at a time.

What are some of your favourite anime OPs?

Yeah, I must be a masochist then. Back when I was watching InuYasha, it was sitting at around a 7 for me when it was sticking to the plot, but it's been in filler for quite sometime now, so I've dropped it down to a 5. The only anime that's been terrible to the point that I dropped it without second guessing is Baki the Grappler.

Have you ever considered watching Last Exile? It's a really neat anime. There's a second Last Exile currently airing right now that I am super excited about - I'm going to wait for it to finish before I start watching it though.

When it comes time to watch Kanon, be sure you watch the Kanon (2006) version and not the earlier one. I haven't seen the original series, but apparently it's half the length and not nearly as polished as the 2006 version.

Have you ever had a long series you started watching but then lost the steam to continue pushing through? That happened with me with InuYasha. I decided yesterday to force myself to watch one episode a day, so that eventually I can finally mark it as watched.

Maybe ef - A Tale of Memories and ef - A Tale of Melodies were simply too abstract for me at the time I watched them. Animes made by Shaft take a lot of focus for me to get through usually. =(

I just finished Steins;Gate! What a ride - I just marathoned 15 episodes in a row. It's certainly on my Top 25 animes list; I love it when an anime makes me think. I'm excited for the movie that's coming out!

Now that RomeoXJuliet is out of the way for you, what do you intend to watch next?

Sorry for the delay! I was away from my computer for the weekend.

I wasn't the biggest fan of ef - A Tale of Memories for some reason. One thing I know for sure though was that the follow up, ef - A Tale of Melodies, made me want lobotomize myself with a spoon.

Did you make any progress in RomeoXJuliet?
