I am an 18 y/o student at Chico State in the heart of California and I love anime. My taste in anime is strage. Bittersweet endings are some of my favorites, ie: Fullmetal Alchemist, Code Geass, Nana, HONEY AND CLOVER!, etc. The only kinds of anime I really dont like are: Yaoi (most of the time), Shounen and very sugarcoated Shoujo anime. My favorites are Seinen, good Shoujo, Josei, drama and tragedy.
What my anime list means:
Watched: I have either completed the anime or have watched at least 90% of the episodes and seen the ending.
Watching: I am watching the anime as the episodes air or on a day to day basis if the series is completed.
Want To Watch: All anime that I want to watch sometime in the future.
Stalled: For some reason I just needed a break from this anime. I may pick it back up again or I may just drop it.
Dropped: The series didn't interest me that much. Felt like I was just wasting time when I could be watching something else.
Wont Watch: Anime that I have not watched and will never watch...for some reason.

Some suggestions Excel Saga(For wtf lol, A C R O S S~)Haré+Guu For (wtf wth Gao~~~~)Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun for(lol guy with lots of girls(you'd prolly find this one amusing)) Potemayo(for adorable fun, like holy crap I want one!)Princess Princess (guys being forced to cross dress, I was kinda concerned about this one when david told me about it but when I watched it, it was pretty hilarious)
Now for what I think you do not want to watch, Girls Bravo (shallow characters weak plot(Oh look, the main character just teleported into my bath from an alternate dimension, oh how convenient, I hate the perverted blonde guy soo much, oh my god he's prolly one of the few anime characters I would kill IRL) Koi Koi Seven (for some reason they keep having random gundam fights,weak characters, was pretty amusing but since it is a random comedy no plot of course, which I forgive but, the characters do not interest me) Rec (now this one may interest you, but I think it was a ridiculous situation that the two main characters meet on the first episode, fall in love, and sleep together, all on freaking episode one(nothin is shown by the way) seems kinda boring too, her house burns down randomly so she has to live with some random guy she met who got dumped by some chick he thought wanted to go to the movies with him but actually blah blah blah boring.

Oi Kaide, you should watch Clannad, pretty sure you would like it, it's similar to Kannon.

thankz, and that would be great! but, i just learned that were leaving on friday, not sunday, for my grantparents in garberville. i'll be there fora week and a half, so the soonest weekend i can come is augest 9&10th.:<

I know! I'm pretty busy with school -- but when not being busy with school I've finished Kei, watched Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and am now trying to catch up on Bleach. :) How have you been?
