Hello! sothis is redesigning the anime-planet site, and plans to roll out an awesome new site design in July, we believe. The blog feature is not part of the new design, and it is going away. More information about this here: Announcement: the blog feature is being deprecated topic link. (Be sure to check out the new site design when it goes live!)
The blog pages are going away, and will be gone when the site redesign goes live. Your blog here will be removed from the site.
So, if want to keep the information posted in your blog, you will need to copy this information someplace else on the site. If you have any questions how or where to do this, please feel free to get back to me, and I will try to assist.(For instance, you can post latest thoughts, daily activities, and general commentary in the discussion topics in the site's Forum to elicit responses from other members here.)
Hi, nice meet you!
Ehhhh. If they're recommended to each other just because of both of the genres involving same sex relationships... well, that makes no sense at all, indeed, since they're polar opposites in a way. If they'd at least share story elements I could understand a bit. Not sure, could ask, I guess, although I'd probably first write my own recs. Can always use more from people who know their subject matter well.
Ohhhh, yes, Liar Game is my top manga ever. Just wonderful. The main duo fills in for each other's weaknesses and they make a damn fine team as a result. And the mind games... I just love it. And someone who likes Spiral? Ahhhh! So very rare! ...if you happen to like the female characters in it too I'll probably bounce on the walls out of joy... and yeah, the anime isn't as awesome as the manga in comparison, but it did introduce me to the series and was one of my first anime, so it still has special meaning to me. It also had nice music and coloring, so... well, it's not a waste to watch it even though the ending was, well, lacking.
The recommendations here are written by users using their own judgment, so they're really subjective. I don't think they're usually removed unless there are definite factual errors, i.e., I dunno, claiming that a story about two nobles in 1700s France tangled up in a forbidden love is about giant mecha... although rec submissions are moderated so those shouldn't make it through, I think.
Well, if someone's outright lying, I guess giving examples and asking something to be done about them on http://www.anime-planet.com/forum/feature-requests-bug-reporting-site-questions/ would be a good idea, but if it's more of a question of opinion, your best bet is probably to write your own recommendations to bump up the more fitting series on the list. And thanks, I love the list function here, could do so very many... with many of them involving Eureka 7, too...
No problem. Can answer other questions if you have them, too.
