Anticipated Anime of Fall 2012

29 SEP

I'm beginning to see a trend where I seem to rush my Top Ranked list and Anticipated list because of an unknowingly released anime popping out of no where. Though I should be grateful to Shin Sekai Yori because I can now focus on making this list properly instead of the blunder I've made in my previous Aniticipated list of Summer 2012. With a full year of anime experience, I can feel sort of proud of how I'll be making this list. So let's get started, this is my most Anticipated Anime of Fall 2012. Where I'll be counting down or in this case up the anime I'll be looking forward to. How I choose my anime is simply by the artwork of the poster and the premise/summary of said anime, from an anime chart provided by Deathlyforce where you find located here... Anime Chart : Autumn 2012. Remember, the ranking from this list doesn't necessarily mean that the supposed anime will be good as said to my previous list but again I'm planning on not making that mistake again with a season that is full of promising anime.

  1. Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai! : I had this anime as my most anticipated of the season just because of Rikka. From the preview/promo episode, fate has decided for me that I must claim Rikka (No you cannot f**king have her, she's mine!). She would remind you of Yui from K-On, Iori from Kokoro Connect and the eyepatch, let's go with Misaki Mei from Another, just because she too is adorable. The character design and art style and Episode 0 had me invested. I'm going to end up loving this anime.
  2. Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun : I like the premise, characters looks like people I can be invested into and the animation looks really good. Before I made this list, I had this as my first priority to watch. If it wasn't for Rikka, I would have had this at the top of my list...
  3. Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo : A school romantic comedy with a female lead, Shiina, whom I'm going to adore.
  4. Psycho-pass : Just the title of this anime is intense. And if that alone doesn't convince you enough, you have a poster with the main characters wielding guns while looking badass. This got me hyped!
  5. Robotics;Notes : The character's design had me interested. And because it's an anime with a mech like theme, I'll be paying close attention to see if I do find mech anime repulsive. I'm assuming it's because of the animation from a decade ago.
  6. Magi : This looks promising. I heard of the manga by name but never gotten the chance to read it. This is going under my underrated mental list.
  7. Suki-tte Ii na yo : The premise is very underrated. Really looking forward to this.
  8. Kamisama Hajimemashita : A fantasy reverse harem anime. Love the art style. Let's hope this turn out well unlike previous anime with the same genre...
  9. K : An original anime, looks interesting.
  10. Little Busters! : From my understanding, this is the work of the same guy who did the writing of some very promising Key anime.
  11. From the New World *Shin Sekai Yori : I'll be watching this anime today right after I finish with this list. The premise and artwork looks good.
  12. Haitai Nanafa : It's going to be so MOE! (Hope I'm using the term right)
  13. Btooom! : The synopsis reminds me of Sword Art Online. The male protagonist being stranded in an unknown enviroment and the only way to escape is to survive.
  14. Bakuman. (2012) : I really enjoyed the 2 seasons with the exception that the second season was not as impactful as the first season. If this be the finale, I'm eagered to finish this series with a smile on my face.
  15. Jormungand: Perfect Order : The first season was just so damn epic.
  16. Medaka Box Abnormal : A lot of sequels out this season and this one I'm really looking forward to. Many has said that the upcoming arc is really something to be anticipated for.
  17. Seitokai no Ichizon 2 : Not only was this anime enjoyable but they changed the art which is definitely a good thing in my books since I couldn't stand the first season's animation.
  18. Zetsuen no Tempest: The Civilization Blaster : A chilling atmosphere involving the mystery of the protagonist's family death and the world being at stake.
  19. Code:Breaker : No comments, yet. This one might surprise me.
  20. Battle Spirits: Sword Eyes : It looks very kid friendly...
  21. Aoi Sekai no Chuushin de : A Nintendo parody. Sounds awesome.
  22. Girls und Panzer : Girls and a tank... what's not to like. Reminds me of Upotte!!
  23. Ixion Saga: Dimension Transfer : Looks interesting but I say that to mostly any anime above this list...
  24. Onii-chan Dakedo Ai Sae Areba Kankeinai yo ne : I feel very afraid of this on. It sends a harem and dumb male lead vibe...
  25. Teekyuu : Joshiraku 2.0
  26. Aikatsu! : Seems like a very short anime. Not as impressive as I originally thought it would be.
  27. Lychee DE Light Club : The art style of the poster made this dark and edgy, neat.
  28. Kyousougiga (2012) : Already seen the first episode, fast paced and intense. Not bad.
  29. Busou Shinki : Seen the OVA, it was sub decent, it didn't have that factor that would pull me in to watch it. Will give it a chance though.
  30. Gintama (2012) : The thing about this anime is that I don't find it hilarious as many pointed out it would be. I'm also way back from the previous installment of this anime and the artwork from that one is really lame. I will be watching this but not as a high priority as the other anime and as soon I finsh the other 200 episodes...
  31. Hayate the Combat Butler: Can't Take My Eyes Off You : Same as Gintama (2012) but still slow on the previous installment. The fact that this is a entrely new take, ignoring the previous versions, I could give this a watch sooner than later.
  32. Chou Soku Henkei Gyrozetter : Combine card games and transformers and you have an anime that I'll be laughing my ass off each week. Looking forward...
  33. To Love-Ru: Darkness : Haven't seen the first season so no opinions yet. I did however saw the OVA with the gender bender episode and it was o-kay...
  34. Hidamari Sketch x Honeycomb : Same reason as 33...
  35. Monsuno : i believe their was a dub version aired in Nickelodeon... Who knew. I watched the dub version... it blew. Let's hope it's not as bad as that version...
  36. Wooser no Sono Higurashi : Meh...
  37. Hiiro no Kakera 2 : ...................I have to be real high, drunk, retarded, tortured, drugged and raped if I were to be watching this peice of shit anyone would call this an anime. Like I said, the characters are boring, the story is boring and the thought provoking moments is full of BS. I would rather do something constructive of my life than to watch this garbage. I spit on the producers, the creators, anyone involved with this anime...

Seeing as how I'm to be watching 36 anime or more, this is going to be one promising season to finish off the year. That or I just like to watch a lot of anime. I'm so hyped and now if you excuse me, I have some anime that need to be watching.

*I'm interested in making a Top "number" list of all the anime from the year 2012. Look foward to that as well.

Hmm Must say thats alot fo watch and comment about, myself not having much time this season (sadly) am only watching a few picked out- Little Busters, K, Onii-chan Dakedo Ai Sae Areba Kankeinai yo ne and Chuunibyou Demo Koi ga Shitai.

Must say im quite into Chuunibyou right now, i would like to comment on something else besides cuteness but man its to cute >_< non the less its some fun and i think you got the right eyes for it.

I have actually taken a liking to OnniiAi, though im not into the whole sis x brother thing, i think i normally dislike it (right down to male x cousin) i think this to be a laugh (fortunatly he rejects her enough), her sexual advances are funny though and the supporting characters (or other leads) make this quite the treat for me as i like most... sadly i agree with you on the guy a dumb male lead :/

K - dont have much to say besides... its unique, ok in truth i hate its music, it doesn't contrast and me not likeing rap music doesn't do it favours but for story its shapeing to look good, art is also a defining awesome piece of work here to.

Little Busters- others didn't have faith in this because JC did it instead of kyoto as they was busy with Chuunibyou, but i think JC are doing well, the anime is shaping to be fun and full of flavour whilst oddly enough sticking like glue to the visual novel's progression which will please the fans like myself (though i wouldn't care if it went off a bit) but it seems very fun.

In all i would love to check more of the seasonal anime but till i get some time i guess i can't though i think of the ones im watching i love them all and find myself waiting for each episode with great joy.
