I've graduated from High School (I think it is actually called upper secondary school or even gymnasium here) in May and now I am carrying out my mandatory military service (yes, we still have that here in Finland), which lasts for 6 months and ends in January. I have time to watch anime only on the weekends. Boohoo.

I wish to become a psychologist (and even a psychiatrist that way) one day. Getting through the entrance examination won't be easy though... Becoming an English teacher would be nice too, although that job won't be as challenging as that of a psychologist's.

Japanese culture has always fascinated me, ever since I was 3 or 4 years old. Back then I used watch Moomins and Around the World with Willy Fog, never knowing they were anime. (Until now of course) I got familiar with anime when they started to air Pokémon on TV. Come to think of it, something Japanese has always been around me, be it video games, anime or something else. I would like to visit Japan one day.

Watching anime is my favorite pastime. An interesting plot and characters are enough to get me hooked in an instant. There are so many anime I would love to watch, but usually time is against me. My want to watch list keeps growing and I'm rather lazy at watching anime if I have something else on my mind at the same time.

Other than watching anime, I like to play video games, listen to music, read books and manga and dream the days away, never forgetting to get some exercise every now and then.

Favorite games: Super Mario, TWEWY, Final Fantasy, Castlevania, Metroid, Legend of Zelda, Megaman/Rockman (also the X and Zero series), Various puzzle games (And all like those, especially Metroidvanias, like Cave Story)

Favorite book series: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, The Old Kingdom (aka Abhorsen) by Garth Nix, Zamonia by Walter Moers, The Gentleman Bastard by Scott Lynch, The Dark Tower by Stephen King, The Enchanted Forest Chronicles by Patricia Wrede
