Kami no Hidari-te, Akuma no Migi-te made me laugh. Hard.

dont lie to yourself we all know the ending to Death Note is what made it complete crap, or well anything after L died was crap
Uh, yeah. Wammy=Whammy. Whoever decided on "Way-mee" is crazy.
(And technically, Ryuk killed Light with his own Note...)
It's not that I'm screwing morals for epicness (Light got downright psycho by the end of the show.) It's just that Light had already defeated L, who was supposed to be the ultra smart super-sleuth that never failed to solve a case. After him, he shouldn't have had much opposition, and yet Near and Matsuda (probably the two noobiest characters in the show) go and first defeat him, then shoot him. He should have at least taken Near the noob with him when he died.
I never answered your question. I'm starting with the anime.
I've seen some screenshots, and the animation looks nice. I don't tend to read a lot of manga, as I like to physically feel it, and the chance of that doesn't happen very often (Half Price Books FTW!). You, however, like manga. I've heard that both are good.
