Sket Dance

Both these animes focus around strong bonds of friendship in one form or another. While Host Club focuses on romance and a reverse harem, Sket Dances's primary focus is episodic comedy. You could be forgiven for thinking that initially they are merely two types of light hearted comedy. However while they both provide some of the best laughs I've had watching anime, the serious moments in regards to back stories are moments that parallel each other in their seriousness, and pure joy you feel at the overcoming of them. Essentially, If you find yourself a fan of one, stick with the other and find it a great use of your time.

Both are ecchi heram fighting animes that have similar character types. However this isn't a bad thing. The girls tend to follow a similar type; The ditzy Big Breasted cute girls the stories focus around and the childhood friend are two examples. All in all, if you like one you will like the other, they have fantastically daft fights with plenty of ecchi to keep you entertained throughout
