Sorry if I sounded condecending but being a guy that liked Fruits Basket, I just felt like you were making me out to be some weird fanboy. That's why I posted a response because I believe gender doesn't matter regarding the ability to relate with its story arcs. 

I can imagine how some "Fan Boy" obsessing over a show like this would be creepy. However I don't see how gender matters regarding the ability to relate or empathize with the stories in Fruits Basket. Perhaps you didn't really watch this series with an open heart lke you said you did.

Well which way to romance do you want to go? If you want drama and crying, try clannad. If you want drama and school life then try Toradora.

I've been good. College could be better, but whatever. I've been anything but anime deprived. I'm actually recording later today something with a friend that i can put on youtube, so that'll be fun.
