I have never actually fought a boss battle, I have only watched people play boss battles....

The battle with Sephiroth at the end of Final Fantasy VII was pretty awesome....The other one that I remember is this boss from Final Fantasy XII where you have to fight this dragon-type monster in these mine caves and it's really hard cause your party can't seem to regenerate as fast as the beast in inflicting damage...it's pretty intense.

I've also seen the final bosses for Soul Caliber 4, but those were pretty easy and boring and not really worth talking about...basically you fight one of the 'harder' characters...

I can see that happening - boredom is something that happens in even the most interesting games. I think after a while most bosses in video games start to look the same. I would not know - the only thing that looks similar to me is character design and then it's like, "Really game creators? You had to borrow ideas from your other games cause you were too lazy to come up with new characters? Really?!" *shrugs*

I have heard that that is one of the drawbacks of MMOs, but most of the people I know play in pairs so that there is at least someone they know playing with them.

I have seen people play on just about every level from Easy to Expert - I have a friend that is trying to go through Kingdom Hearts on Expert just because she wants a challenge.

Most of the RPGs that I have watched people play (cause I love watching people play) were pretty interesting - Kingdom Hearts, part of Kingdom Hearts II, Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy X, Final Fantasy X-II, Final Fantasy XII, Ephemeral Fantasia, and this really old game called Ico.

I will let you know if I get into any RPGs or start to really play video games. :-)

I do play some video games, but not really any PC-based games. The people I lived with in college had Rome tournaments all the time and they lan-ed it up a lot. I got invited to play, but it's not exactly my cup of tea.

Most of the games I play are fighting games (I can do FPS, but those take me a while to get used to the camera angles) and racing games. I'm sure if I tried RPGs I would enjoy them, but I also recognize that I would get frustrated with something really easliy and then just sort of give up on it....
