In case you were wondering how I rate anime. 4 means it was worth watching but not again, 4.5 means it was worth watching multiple times with other people who haven't seen it before, and 5 means I would watch it multiple times even all by myself.
By the way I'm extremely tired of the cliche goody goody main character, usually male, who wants to save the world and never hurt anyone, or use their powers, or be mean in anyway. These people don't exist anywhere because they are boring and get beat up all the time if they do exist for being so lame and worthless. They make so many potentially good anime's unbearable. I'm tired of having to just stop watching a otherwise great show because they had their period all over every other characters traits turning them into little cry babies who can't hurt people either.

You are looking too deep into it.
I just like characters that I think are cute. I am a pretty simple person when it comes to picking characters I like, it is 100% subjective and, of course, I don't expect anybody to understand why I picked them.
And... now that I think about it, I have plenty of non-dark characters in my hate lite too ^^

Well, my "Hate character list" is more along the line of "The characters that annoyed me" so it isn't surprising most dark and/or evil characters are in it.
