Kiznaiver

Jul 8, 2016

When the seasonal chart for Spring 2016 blossomed from the Internet, a new kind of excitement was birthed within the anime community. What was it? Well, a brand new original creation from Studio Trigger, of course! Trigger has made a name for itself through Kill la Kill, um...well, they only had one full-length anime, and maybe Inferno Cop if that's your thing...but hey, people like Trigger, so they were excited for Trigger! ...Well, unfortunately, it seems like Trigger didn't live up to expectations. Mostly.  STORY Kiznaiver is a science-fiction, character drama show about a group of... See full review

The Lost Village

Jun 22, 2016

Who cares? No one cares. This show has no meaning. It has no purpose. What would you even classify this show as? It can't possibly be a horror, since nothing horrifying happens. "Well, would you look at this artistic anime! My, my. Kaneki is unlucky and tragic and that makes him a deep and well developed character." This is a blister that needs to be popped. This show is a sequel to a decent production by Studio Perriot made fairly recently. Tokyo Ghoul. What a controversial show that's turned out to be. Quite unpopular with some manga fans, the first was really only decent at best. It's philosophy was done before and a bit underdeveloped, and the characters weren't very well explored. In addition, the show had a very open, "trollish" ending, and so a second... See full review

Pupa

Mar 27, 2014

Pupa is a masterpiece in it's own right, being both a psychological anime and fitting so much frightening themes into a small time period. It says wonders about an anime that's only five minutes long to be so fantastic. It's truly a psychological journey into the monsters inside all of us, and how family can always mend breaks in your life. Not to mention act as sexy incest bait. Pupa truly is one of my favorite animes, not because it's borderline porn and a great way to get off, but because it's just so encompasses the themes it tries to shoot for so well, and I totally got that while watching Yume eat out...
