Strange yet refreshing anime. For whatever reason I have gotten into the habit of watching some very strange anime as of late...or maybe for the better part of my life I have been strangely attracted to such shows. It's not that they're strange just that they are beautifully original that gives you some what of a feeling of awe or happiness. I couldn't stop smiling through Kids on the Slope, the upbeat Jazz beats kept my feet tapping, and the friendship between the two main characters made me want what they had with my best friend, a friendship that could last years. Enough about Kids though Natsume Yuujinchou was also a beauty to watch, weather he was running from angry Yokai or becoming friends with them, it was something to behold. Kuragehime has always been one of my favourites of the strange genre, not only did it reborn my love for jellyfish but made me feel that being myself wasn't all that bad because I had friends just as strange as me to share my strangeness with. Mushishi was a spur of the moment one I watched with a friend and, even though it was quite slow, it being slow was one of the main appeal's for her and I. We realized that it was any faster it would have taken away from the beauty of what we were watching. Anwyays that is all on the matter I wanted to talk about.
Ta Ta! XD
