Yona of the Dawn

on Feb 16, 2016

Story 9/10 As a whole, the story is decent. It has a good plot that leaves you wanting to know what happens next. Each main character has their own sub story, which is really nice for character development. Keep in mind it is a romance anime though, so if you aren't into some pretty mushy gushy scenes than be prepared for that. For a romance anime though, it's not too cheesy. The only problem I noticed with the story line is how it was rushed in some areas and then dragged out in others. For example, there might be an entire episode on characters that you only meet once, and there are other episodes where... See full review

Akagami no Shirayukihime

on Feb 8, 2016

Okay, I will be the first to admit that there are some pretty cheesy moments in this show. But man are they addicting to watch! This is one of the cutest animes out there at the moment (if cutesy is what you are looking for). If you are looking for some action or heavy plot, please turn away! But if you are looking for an adorable romance this show is perfect. It's romantic moments are absolutely adorable and sweet in every way possible. They make you wish you were living the character's lives. While it may not have much to the plot, it's still a show you can easily find yourself binge watching. The... See full review

Your lie in April

on Dec 20, 2015

If you are avoiding a tearjerker, don't bother with this anime. Otherwise, be prepared to have your heartstrings tugged at. The animation is simply gorgeous along with the soundtrack. It doesn't matter if you are a musician or not, it it really easy to get pulled into the main character's emotions, fears, pain, excitement, etc. I will admit sometimes the episodes get somewhat dragged out, but rushing it anymore would really take away from the emotions each episode tries to give. The characters are really easy to get attached too so it makes it that much easier to be dragged in by thier own circumstances... See full review

Kamisama Hajimemashita 2

on May 18, 2015

Okay, so if you are expecting season 2 to have lots of development in terms of the love story then you may be dissapointed. As in season 1, the devlopment of Nanami and Tomoe's relationship makes some progress, but not much. Tomoe still takes forever to admit his true feelings, but at least he finally does. The problem with Kamisama Hajimemashita it that both seasons are way too short. You feel like you only get to spend one or two episodes with a new character because there are only 12-13 episodes in both seasons. I do not feel like the shortness of the series allows you to feel satisfied. Hopefully... See full review

Attack on Titan

on Apr 13, 2014

Few animes are worth a perfect 10/10 and Attack on Titan is certainly one of them. The story line is full of action and suspense. However, if you do not like gore this is not an anime for you. The animation is beautifully done from the landscape all the way down to the eyes of the characters. The soundtrack is also amazing. It's the kind of music that either gets you pumped up or makes your heart race. The characters were very well thought out and they all have aspects that make them memorable (not to mention many of them are good looking!). Overall, this anime deserves a perfect score. While all shows have... See full review
