about me

"Plot grows out of character. If you focus on who the people in your story are, if you sit and write about two people you know and are getting to know day by day, something is bound to happen."

                    ---Anne Lamott, bird by bird

Those who consider themselves homophobic need not read on.

Now that that's out of the way, welcome to my profile! Here's a complimentary companion cube just in case you're feeling down. [♥]

Putting that aside, my favorite genres are slice-of-life, romance, drama, supernatural, and yuri. My first anime was Cardcaptor Sakura. I started getting into the art form in 8th grade, and I haven't stopped since then. I love anime that elicits an emotional response, be it tears or dokis, and I appreciate a crisp, bright style of animation.

My favorite characters are often small, cute, bespectacled girls with midlength hair, and f/f ships are my lifeblood.

If you ever want to talk about yuri, I'm your girl.

(I also write! My writing blog is here, and my fanfiction page is here.)

P.S. I dislike yaoi because I'm hella gay and girls are rad, not because I disapprove of m/m relationships. I promise I will never judge you because of your sexual orientation or gender; all you need to do for me to use your correct pronouns is say the word.

OK, just Wiki'd it. Now I remember 8D

I dunno if I should watch the anime or read the manga. The manga came out first, and usually I use the medium that came out earlier when faced with a non-anime-or-manga story that was adapted into both.

I feel lazy, though, so I'm leaning towards the anime. What you does think? :3

Long time no talk! How have ya been?

Remembered that you plan to be an english teacher and that you write stories. I'm actually writing a little story now. Influenced from Greek/Egyptian mythology as well as anime/manga with Japanese culture. In a different world. Its nowhere near complete however. I got 4000 words so far. Not really strong in grammar areas so if I were to show you the draft maybe you could show how to make the grammar/narration.

It is hard for me to evaluate who's point of view it is sometimes thou. We choose to do it on an article about border disputes between North Korea and China. Got the article from a website called China perspectives or something. Turns out when we researched the author/reporter he was from Paris. So we need to find 2 other articles about this from the perspecitves of North Korea and China. Dunno if I'm explaining it right thou. Not very good at explaining things to other people well lol...

Being a teacher looks extemely hard. And I have to respect you for trying to be an English teacher. Even if you know and understand the information required it looks hard to pass it on to other people. Can I ask if you're shooting to be an elementary/middle/high/college English Teacher?
