As the mighty Rak has just told you, my name's Bradalee, but feel free to call me Brad. I'm a 24 year old Scottish guy who studies game design, loves football, adores music and going to gigs and gets majorly hyped for anything sci-fi. Oh, and i'm blunt, crude, insulting and i probably dislike you already. I'm also a forum moderator, so feel free to message me if you have any issues or questions, i can put aside my hateful nature to help you out if you need anything. Probably...

As for my anime habits....i'm what you would can an idiot. I pick up almost every new show that starts in each new season, and end up bogged down in 30 shows, 25 of which i'll inevitably end up hating. Buuuuuut that's fine, because i love raging and tearing into shitty shows on the forums, i think i might actually get more of a kick out of watching shows i hate that ones i love. I'm kind of messed up. So since i'm willing to give anything a shot i don't really have a set taste as such, but i suppose the shows i'm most interested in these days are anything sci-fi or to do with space, anything with an original or quirky concept or anything that hints at a more grown up story than your average high school romcom. Oh, and Mahouka is the worst show ever, fuck anyone who likes that filth.

And all my anime ratings are purely subjective, so based entirely on my enjoyment of the series, regardless of its flaws. Flaws will only impact on the score if it damaged my enjoyment of the show, if they were present but didn't annoy me then i'll ignore them for the scoring.

Hey man, I see you started watching Minami-ke. How do you like it? I just watched 12th episode and I think it's weird that I like it, hope I'm not the only one who does? Though the average score says I'm not lol

Oh and how did you managed not to marathon Kaiji in one or two goes.. it's awesome stuff.

Well it really is heavy on the yuri, or shoujo-ai for the most part as it doesn't really get ecchi until the later chapters, and at that point it's not gratuitous panty shots and all that kind of stuff. It's up to you if you want to give it a go, it's only 5 volumes so you don't need to commit a huge amount of time to it.

It really does, should be Top 50 or at least Top 100, especially when you see the kind of crap rated higher than it. I cannot understand why that 1 scene that lasts no more than 20 seconds would turn so many people away. I think it says more about their confused sexuality than the quality of the show...

Oh god Lisa Lisa, of all the characters that deserve a spinoff she'd be top of my list! Such a pity we never got to see her in a proper confrontation with Cars though. Of all the JoJo fans I know, they all say that Stardust Crusaders is the best arc, and considering the quaslity of the others, that's saying something! That guy wasn't roriconfan was it?

I guess it depends on what you like really, if you're not a great fan of slice of life, then you may not get much enjoyment from it, and it's not really a comedy either. It literally focuses on nothing else than 2 girls feelings for each other, which blossoms into glorious (for me at least) yuri.

I have to admit that had time allowed me too, I would probably have marathoned it myself, there were often times when I spent an entire work day thinking about the episode that i'd just watched, and I had the same thing all the way through From The New World.

STRRROOOOOHHEEEEEEIIIIMMMUUUUU!!!! Ceasar was my favourite character from that show, though picking between them is hard as hell. There's not a single character that wasn't just brilliant in their role. Ahhhh, so you've started StarDust Crusaders! You'll have to let me know what you think of it when you've finished the story line, it's long enough to have a whole 24-26 episode run itself!

I may just drop both of my claims and claim Dal Dal and Akko from the Girl Friends manga (god I love me some yuri!)

*gasp* You should rectify that, but do it when you don't have much going on, as it deserves attention and some thought behind each episode, I only marathoned the last 4-5 eps of it, anything more than that can probably be a bit too much, and the rest I watched 1 a day. It's really good though, more a work of art than an anime show in my eyes. But maybe I'm just being too pretentious...

I don't know how well recieved it was in Japan or how well the BD/DVDs sold over there, but I hope it was good enough to get a release over here. I see that the original novel is getting a november release over here, and I'll certainly be acquiring that!

Ah JoJo, so goddam fabulous. I went into that expecting a cheesy shounen, and what i got was the one of the best shounen's I've ever seen. The OTT factor was brilliant, the characters were phenomenal. I could rewatch that for eternity and not become bored. I think they may do a second season, there was that teaser at the end, and IMO the next story line is the best from the manga, it's also the story line from the original OVA, yet if they give it the same treatment, it'll be so much better than that.
