They usually have good and interesting story line and they usually make little sense but you are right they make little sense and are too hard to follow, but if you stick with them it will pay off. Sadly because they hard to understand most people don’t like them.

Ha ha! The problem is that right before I tried to watch it again, I commented on a bunch of people's profiles asking about the characters I wanted to verify... These were people who rated it 5 stars, and they're coming back to my profile now and responding. I can't very well have "SHUGO CHARA PARTY ATE MY SOUL!!!!1" emblazoned on my front page! -_-;
So good work on figuring it out, and I intend to take your advice and not pick it up again. I convinced myself that if it was only 25 episodes (compared to 53ish like the other seasons), if it had a definite end, if it was for the site, then maybe it could work. Definitely not the case! Oh, it's truly a nightmare!
