Obviously, just from looking at the stats for this anime, it isn't popular at all, and those who have watched it seem to think it worthy of few stars. But, personally, I found it quite enjoyable. It's action sequences are rather cheesy, I admit it, but that's not really the main focus of the story. It's all about how Saiga Junki developes as a character throughout the course o the series. It's deffinately not geared toward the action obsessed or the mindless anime fans, like those who enjoy anime such as Claymore or Lucky Star.
