As for High School of the Dead, I felt that it followed the typical zombie apocolypse style movie too much and didn't provide much else that good action and some fanservice, and it kind of dissapointed me. For Romeo x Juliet I kind of felt that they were dragging the story out too long and it never really seemed to keep its focus. As for me being hard to impress, I will have to disagree with you. There are many anime that have impressed me (The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Lucky Star, Genshiken, FLCL, Working!!, So-Ra-No-Wo-To, K-on! to name a few). I will contend that I am not hard to impress, it is just that I am impressed by different things than you are. I respect that you really liked High School of the Dead and Romeo x Juliet, a lot of people do, but I didn't have strong positive feelings towards them. As for declaring that these series are the best ever made, that is a matter of opinion and I would contend that the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is the greatest anime ever, but just because I say it, doesn't mean it is the truth.

Hello, thank you for the comment. I think you misunderstood me; my words were:

"I expected a typical, Love Hina/Ranma-ish plot with at least 10000 girls crushing on one guy, but in the end he can't decide, or he's crushing on one girl, but she doesn't like him or they are just too shy to admit it. Ughh, I'm sick of these clichés.

Instead, what I got was: (...) Yes, ladies and gentleman, the main protagonist falls in love with a girl who likes him, and they DO get together."

So, in my review, I wrote that I though it would be a cliché harem story, but it turned out to be a story where the male protagonist DOES decide to date one of the girl.
