My very first exposure to anime was Dragon Ball when I was very young (about 5 years old). From there, I got hooked on to Pokemon, MS Gundam Wing, and Rurouni Kenshin and it pretty much took off from there.
As for manga, I didn't get into it until high school. The first manga I ever read was MS Gundam Wing: Episode Zero. The only manga series I ever collected was Ragnarok (don't know if that even counts since it's a manhwa). My physical library of manga is tiny, consisting of the above mentioned, a couple of Zoids: Chaotic Century volumes, and a Helsing volume.
In recent years, I don't spend as much time on anime and manga as I did when I was younger. Mainly due to having a job and trying to get some direction in my life. I have since turned to video games as my main hobby so that leaves even less time to check out any new anime/manga. I am always open to suggestions, but having time to explore those suggestions is the tricky part.
