I'm a musician and composer.  I began watching anime (mainly Slice-of-Life genres at first) to improve my Japanese language listening skills.  I've stopped watching anime altogether for a pretty long while, but have seen a few more recently and thought I'd add them to my list here.   I keep this list simply to remember what I've seen before.

I've never been much into manga, admittedly.  I also stay away from Ecchi and other anime based on sexually oriented content, it just never was for me.  When I watched anime, I was much more into the deep mystery, great adventure, impossible challenge, the soul search, finding and fighting for that real love, stuff like that.

If you happen to add me to your Friends' List, please send me a private msg. letting me know what caused you to wanna send it;  to me, it's like getting to know you (being formally "introduced").  I appreciate it.  *^_^*

Look up Django, Nuages.

Then look up the Rosenberg Trio.

Then Bireli Lagrene.

Eclectica is what Primus does, btw.

That sounds cool.

As for myself, I'll fool around with any style, but usually stick with stuff along the lines of progressive metal, classical, and jazz.

I enjoy Eclectica and Gypsy Jazz the most though, if that counts for anything.

Viola's don't get as much credit as violins, probably due to the sparsity of people who play them seriously.

I play guitar, bass (electric and upright), and trombone for the most part.

I also tinker around with banjo, Ukulele, harmonica, and piano, but I'm not as good at those...

Not as good at all...

What do you play the most of? Jazz, Classical, Bluegrass?

Gypsy?

violin can be a bit diverse as far as stylings go.

So...

What do you play?
