I'm a musician and composer.  I began watching anime (mainly Slice-of-Life genres at first) to improve my Japanese language listening skills.

I'm not as much into manga, admittedly.  But every now and then I'll read one, especially if it has a unique storyline.

Been learning Japanese for several years now.  I'm not fluent, and I understand more than I can speak/write.  But I still aim to improve.

Hello Aurura,

Yep, I had kind of a brain-fail there. I took a quick look over "Aquarian Age" when you first mentioned it, but somehow the Image of it melted with "Aquarian Evol" which thus led me into thinkin it was a Mecha, sorry about that :P

Well, it actually sounds kind of interesting, maybe I'll add it to my "want to watch"-list ^^

Another good story as in "another good anime"? If yes, maybe I can help out :P

Sounds... though? xD' Because I'm almost still a "Child" myself, I can't really imagine how stressful it is to manage a whole familys schedule and all, but I wish you the best of luck and very strong nerves! :P (It also says a bit about your "unknown" age, hurhurhur xD)

Guild Wars 2 sounds like an interesting game, but sadly I can't play it right now Q_Q Do they have something like a free test-out trial perhaps?

Greetings

Hello Aurura,

Two people who don't excel at keeping up conversations - interesting combination ;P

Glad you are doing "well" as "well" (hurhur)

I'm not really into blogs, but congrats to your first year on A-P! (Even though I'm a bit late xD')

Taking things easy and slow is good, I agree :D Too much worrying or hurrying can end in fatal mistakes after all~

Haven't seen Aquarian Age (yet), as I'm not too much of a Mecha-Anime Fan, especially old ones. I do like some recent ones, but I just can't get into most of them :/

For me to watch a "old anime", it has to have something special which makes me want to watch it, because I'm admittingly somewhat of a graphic-bitch xD

Greetings

Hello Aurura-san~

Yeah, I know, I'm terrible at keeping contact with people :P

Well, what can I say... Life has been pretty stable over the last few months, so I'm glad to say that I've been "good" for some time now. Thanks for asking and how about you?

Greetings

Spirit~

Same here. Video Games and Anime are there to help us from those downs! And happy Birthday to your daughter!

Looks like rpgs are totally the way to go. Haven't played a lot lately thou. League of Legends is good I hear. I played it a little but couldn't get into it for some reason. Guild Wars also looks interesting. Looks somewhat similar to Dragon Age. (Also heard theres an anime movie of Dragon Age which I heard is very good. may have to check that out) Otherwise my main rpg these days has been the Shin Megami Tensei series. It could be described as "pokemon for adults" Insanely difficult yet fun. Can't get enough of it.

Also with you on the older anime it seems like a lot of new things are losing their quality (with a few notable exceptions). There's more substance from 90's/ early 2000's anime. Same thing with other movies and american tv shows they just aren't the same as they were. Can't keep up with all the new anime coming out anyway lol

It is fun to hear from you as well. Its great talking to people here
