I'm a musician and composer.  I began watching anime (mainly Slice-of-Life genres at first) to improve my Japanese language listening skills.

I'm not as much into manga, admittedly.  But every now and then I'll read one, especially if it has a unique storyline.

Been learning Japanese for several years now.  I'm not fluent, and I understand more than I can speak/write.  But I still aim to improve.

I have always wanted to learn how to play other string instruments such as the Violin. I got stuck playing trombone in middle and high school -___-

In my eyes it's no different than my strat; just wider and has more strings. It didn't take me too long to get adjusted to the longer scale length either. I am assuming that you play as well; what's your collection like?

I have a Fender Strat and a Schecter Damien Elite 8. Love the Schecter more than anything :D

If by "live" you mean actually preform every instrument then kind of. The guitar tracks are all preformed by myself but the drums and ochestral parts are triggered by software. I use a midi keyboard to control the programs I use for the vitural instruments such as the orchestral parts. So in a sense I am playing the parts just not real drums and real string instruments.

I tend to stray away from writting music that have vocals (not that I am against vocals). I really don't know how to describe the music I record; whatever comes to mind I sit down and record.
