The only reason I didn't rate the story 10/10 is due to deviation from the manga (I mostly refer to the last 3 episodes...this is a forgiveable deviation, since the manga wasn't completed at the time & the animators speculated on an ending without ruining future manga developments).  I admit to being picky, BUT,  there is the rare  exception where I consider the anime adaptation of an aspect of Furuba better than the original manga (Haru's story arc, for example).

I am a diehard subtitle watcher, but the dubbing for Fruits Baskets is one of the very few I can bear to listen to (apart from the english makeover to the lyrics of the opening & closing themes).
