Good choice watching FMP. It's definitely worth a watch. If you're anything like me you'll fall head over heels for Tessa.
Seen as how you like blood, you should check out Samurai Champloo (which i'm watching now). The protagonist - Mugen - is similar to Revy in some instances. The check out Cowboy Bebop which has guns and is a masterpiece. ^.^
